Weston Silver Band is thrilled to be special guests of The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra for their season finale of Richard Strauss’ An Alpine Symphony – one of the most monumental works in the symphonic repertoire.

An Alpine Symphony is an ambitious and technically demanding sonic expedition through the Alpine landscape, capturing the grandeur and beauty of nature.

Weston Silver Band will perform as part of the enlarged brass section required by this symphonic tone poem.

Rarely performed, An Alpine Symphony is a musical experience that is not to be missed!

Weston Silver Band will also be performing Philip Sparke’s London Overture on the program.

A wonderful introduction to the repertoire of the brass band for symphony goers.
