Kick in KMS – Support our DRIVE to the CHAMPIONSHIPS
On April 7, 2018 , the WSB will be returning to compete at the North American Brass Band Championships in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
After 1st Place wins in 2014 and 2015 and 2nd Place in 2016 and 1st Place in 2017, we are working hard to be in top form for this year’s Championships.
We are proud to represent Canada in the largest Brass Band contest in North America!
We are raising funds to pay for our travel costs…every little bit helps!
OUR GOAL: Although our members are covering their own accommodations, our biggest expense is our travel costs (including chartering a bus) to enter the competition.
The competition in the USA is our biggest expense of the year. Our members cover their hotel and costs but our goal is to raise funds for our bus travel and our entry fee of $2300 CDN – (YIKES!)
Support the band by donating kilometres through our Kick-In KMS Campaign! $5 per kilometre…will start us on the road to NABBA (and back!).
