Weston Silver Band celebrates Celtic musical influences, spanning music traditions from Ireland, Scotland and the east coast of Canada with very special guests, Cape Breton fiddler Dan MacDonald and his trio the North Atlantic Drift. Including a NOT TO BE MISSED finale of Peter Graham’s spectacular concert suite ‘Cry of the Celts’ in its original scoring for brass band and fiddle!
About North Atlantic Trio: Blending Celtic influences, the group is made up of Cape Breton fiddler (gone Irish) Dan MacDonald, Highland-to-Uilleann bagpipe convert Ross Griffiths and String Guru Brian Taheny from the Irish music mecca of Sligo, Ireland.
A special thank you yo our Chair Sponsor, Bruce Wilson Landscaping for their generous contribution to our Celtic Connections concert!
